Lokmanya Tilak Birth Annivarsary

Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Jayanti was celcbrated in college on 23rd July 2025 w ith great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Ihe program was to pay tribute to one of India's most revered fredom fighters and social rclormers. The cvent commenced at 10.00 AM in the college auditorium with a floral tribute to the portrait of Lokmanya Tilak. follow ed by the lighting of the cerenmonial lanp by the Principal. Dr, Vinod S Pawar. and other dignitaries. In his opening address. the principal highlightcd Tilak's immense contributions to India's independence movement and his famous slogan. "Swaraj is my birthright and I shall have it." Students delivered inspiring specchcs on Tilak's ifc. his role in shaping nationalist thought. and his emphasis on cducation and sclf-reliance. A short documentary on his life was screened to highlight the lifc. strugles. and contributions of Bal Gangadhar Tilak to the Indian freedom movement and his enduring legacy. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Cultural Coordinator and the singing of the national anthem. The celebration not only honored the memory of Lokmanya Tilak but also instilled a deep sense of patriotism and responsibility in students.
