Tree Plantation Activity

The Green Club onganized a tree plantation drive on 12th August, 2025 at CCOP College Campus to promote environnmental awareness, encourage sustainable practices, and contribute to a greener and healthier ccosystenm. The program commenced with a bricf awareness session on the importance of aflorestation and the role of trees in combating climate change. reducing air pollutio, and supporting biodiversity by the college Principal, Dr. Vinod S Pawar. who emphasized the critical role of the pharmaceutical community in promoting a healthy and sustainable environment. Volunteers and stafT from the campus grounds department assisted participants with the proper planting techniques, including soil preparation and watering. The tree plantation drive instilled a sense of environmental stewardship among students and faculty. The enthusiasm and participation of all involved made the event highly impactful. The Activity also served as a small yet significant step towards creating a greener and healthier planet. We hope to continue such initiatives in the future to spread environmental awareness and contribute to a sustainable ecosystem.
